The design team needed to source a screen product that would provide protection from the bugs and relief from the afternoon sun.  The selected mesh type - Phifer's 18/14 insect mesh in charcoal finish - offers great visibility to the outside while delivering shade and blocking unwanted insects from entering the screened area.

Keeping things cool during a Southern summer

Sliding glass doors were installed between this home’s back porch and family room to open the house to the outdoors. The owners needed a screen to comfortably enjoy the space without having to worry about the heat or unwanted bugs

Every year the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) highlights the latest in building technology by creating a show home as part of the International Builders Show. In 2014 the home was built overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and our screens were an integral part of this amazing home.
