About the home
Jean Houde Prestige Construction’s “West Island Home” was chosen as Phantom’s 2017 Impact Award winner because of its superior design and innovative integration of Phantom Screens. Motorized screens were installed over the home’s expansive multi-panel sliding door and patio area, creating the perfect indoor-outdoor space while seamlessly integrating with the structure’s clean lines and modern aesthetic.

The need
This sprawling outdoor living space needed the ability to open to the home’s incredible lake view providing easy access to the pool – without compromising the architecture of the home or leaving guests vulnerable to insects.
The solution
Phantom’s motorized screens were chosen because they would recess flawlessly into the columns – blending with the home’s modern design. At the touch of a button, the screens disappear and offer uncompromised views.
